Edition 777
Ahead of you is the 777 edition, an ephemeral art campaign created to on the occasion of publication of two new books by Piotr Zbierski: Solid Bars Of All That’s Left Untold
and Echoes Ark/c
The idea.
The idea is simple. That is, a photo and a piece of picture on glass. You choose a photo you like and get a collector-quality print. In the box you also find as well an unique image fragment printed on glass.
It’s a lottery.
The unique image fragment is drawn by a lottery module. You can’t choose. You can surprise and delight yourself by opening the box.
It’s unique.
The glass fragment you will get is one of the elements of a broken glass plate with an exposed print that you have previously selected. I created the unique pieces in the likeness of Voronoia patterns, the way matter in nature divides into irregular shapes.
That’s not all.
It is complemented by a short story I wrote for each photo. The words symbolically convey the images or circumstances under which the photos were taken. They are a diary of the period, an excerpt of which I add to your box.
They are a whole.
A print + a piece of an image + a story. It’s all in your unique box:
– Collector quality 20x20cm or 21x14cm print on Hahnemühle Agave 290 gsm paper, framed in passe partout 25x25cm;
– Unique glass fragment with a fragment of a picture framed in passe partout 25x25cm;
– Story printed on 2 pages.
777 – why?
The value of edition for each picture has been divided by 777. That is way it gives the price of 30 € per box with unique piece. There are 33 different photographs to choose from in the campaign. None have ever been sold to a private collector in other editions. They will not be available in other formats after the campaign ends.
There is more.
Portfolio Edition is offered in wooden boxes in a limited number of 111 pieces. It contains all 33 prints, stories and glass elements made into five compositions.
Uq 1/1 is offered as a unique 70x70cm framed work created from glass pieces glued to the board. They are reconstruction of the image made from broken glass elements.

Przed Tobą edycja 777 – efemeryczna akcja artystyczna, stworzona z okazji publikacji dwóch nowych książek Piotra Zbierskiego: Solid Bars Of All That’s Left Untold i Echoes Arc.
Idea.
Wybierasz zdjęcie, które Ci się podoba i otrzymujesz odbitkę w jakości kolekcjonerskiej. W pudełku znajdujesz także unikalny fragment obrazu wydrukowany na szkle.
To loteria.
Wybierasz zdjęcie, którego odbitkę otrzymasz a następnie unikalny fragment obrazu jest losowany przez moduł losujący. Nie możesz wybrać. Możesz się zaskoczyć i zachwycić, otwierając pudełko.
To unikat.
Fragment szkła, jaki dostaniesz, jest jednym z elementów rozbitej szklanej płyty z naświetloną odbitką, jaka wcześniej została przez Ciebie wybrana. Niepowtarzalne elementy stworzyłem na podobieństwo wzorów Voronoia, czyli sposobu, w jaki materia w naturze dzieli się na nieregularne kształty.
To nie wszystko.
Dopełnieniem jest krótkie opowiadanie, jakie napisałem do każdego zdjęcia. Słowa symbolicznie oddają obrazy lub okoliczności, w jakich zdjęcia zostały zrobione. Są pamiętnikiem z tego okresu, którego fragment dodaję do Twojego pudełka.
To całość.
Odbitka + kawałek obrazu + historia. To wszystko jest w Twoim unikalnym pudełku:

Wartość edycji dla każdego zdjęcia została podzielona przez 777. W ten sposób uzyskano cenę 30 € za pudełko z unikalnym egzemplarzem. W kampanii do wyboru są 33 różne zdjęcia. Żadne z nich nie zostało nigdy sprzedane prywatnemu kolekcjonerowi w innych edycjach. Po zakończeniu kampanii nie będą one dostępne w innych formatach.
Jest więcej.
Portfolio Edition jest oferowana w drewnianych pudełkach w limitowanej liczbie 111 egzemplarzy. W każdym z nich znajdziesz wszystkie odbitki, opowiadania oraz szkła ułożone w pięć kompozycji.
Uq 1/1 jest oferowana jako unikatowa praca 70x70cm oprawiona w ramę. To dzieła powstałe z przyklejonych do boardu kawałków szkła, stanowiących odtworzenie obrazu.
