Anthurium 'Jungle Giant' x luxurians is a stunning new hybrid that matures to a plant with dark, rippled leaves. These seedlings will exhibit some variation in shape, size and color, but are relatively uniform. The seed parent is Barry Schwart's 'Jungle Giant' which is an complex hybrid with a strong bluish cast and influence from papilllilaminum and magnificum; the pollen parent is the large and beautifully bullate luxurians. New leaves will emerge in a reddish orange color but will darken to greenish blue over time. The larger plants from this cross have beautiful texture and iridescent blue shimmer.
