Milorganite is an all-purpose slow-release nitrogen fertilizer that can be used safely on lawns, flowers, vegetables, shrubs, and trees, as well as a carrier when spreading grass seed.

Your Plants Require Three Elements to Flourish: Sunlight, Water and Nutrients.

Sunlight is necessary for photosynthesis, which produces chlorophyll, the element that gives plants their green color. Plant roots absorb water and nutrients from the soil to keep the plant healthy and strong. Water carries chlorophyll throughout the plant and helps plants absorb nutrients.

Milorganite Releases Nutrients as Plants Need Them

Milorganite’s slow-release nutrients are available as plants need them. There’s no immediate, excessive release of nutrients after fertilizing, which causes a flush of growth.

At least 80% of the nitrogen in Milorganite is water insoluble (slow release) and is delivered to the roots through microbial activity in the soil, but the conditions need to be right. Microbial activity occurs when soil moisture is adequate and soil temperatures are 55–85 F. The microbes break down the nutrients from Milorganite making them available to plants. When conditions aren’t favorable, Milorganite’s nutrients stay right where they are until there’s enough water and the temperature is within range.

Slow-release nutrients, like those in Milorganite, are gradually available for up to 10 weeks, which means fewer applications. This extended feeding provides more uniform growth, a deeper and better-established root system, and a healthier lawn and garden. Slow-release nutrients are also better for the environment because the nutrients are less likely to leach into waterways.

Guaranteed Analysis (label):

  • 6.0% Total Nitrogen (N) = *4% Water Insoluble (slow-release) N + 2% Water Soluble N
  • 2.5% Total Iron (Fe)
  • 4.0% Available Phosphate (P2O5)
  • 1.2% Available Calcium (Ca)

Very nice kit: Beware it is NOT heavy duty plumbing pipe though!
Size: side table leg
I want to give this kit a high rating, but I need to address the "truth in advertising" bit since there may be an important disconnect between what you think you are getting and what actually comes in the box. Black plumbing used for shelving or table legs is part of an important niche in interior design. I like the industrial loft look myself and have a variety of glass, steel, and masonry elements in my home. This kit fits that look and provides plenty of "strength" for most domestic uses, like shelves or coffee tables. But they are NOT "industrial pipe" or "maximum durability pipe." Note the phrase "cast iron finish feet," which together with the other claims might lead you to think these are cast plumbing fittings. They are NOT! The feet and flanges feel like electrical conduit fittings, and the pipe sections are likely aluminum. They might be electrical or they might be multi-use, lightweight pipe. While all this might lead you to think that you're getting a truly retro, heavy-duty pipe kit made of black plumbing pipe, you are not. But, does it matter? Depends. I find the lighter pipe's smooth finish a nice "tone-down" from the rough plumbing look. All together, this kit provides plenty of strength for most furniture and the rustic pipe look, but with a nicer, lighter finish. To me that is a plus--this is a very nice kit and costs less that if you'd pieced it together from real plumbing parts (I priced it out to compare), and looks retro but cleaner. I knew what to expect because while I got this kit free on Vine, I had purchased a nearly identical kit from another seller last year. So, I'm giving it 5 stars for what it actually is and for the price, JUST BE AWARE THE NARRATIVE IS MISLEADING. Which is unfortunate because just like some people might want the heavier pipe, I'm betting more would be attracted to the look with a cleaner, lighter feel.

Great project & great quality
Size: 38"Height × 14" Wide, Size: 38"Height × 14" Wide
These legs were used on a 26”x72” DIY quilting ironing table. The Mdjwjj Industrial Pipe Counter Bar Height Table Leg, Metal Table Legs, Iron Base are sturdy & made of real metal, nothing cheap about this product. Legs were easy to install. Highly recommend

Do it yourself
Size: 38"Height × 14" Wide
I purchased a similar set to custom make a dining room table out of butcher block, and it turned out perfect. So with the left over butcher block I purchased these legs and made the perfect kitchen island to match. It is very sturdy and a great price. Everyone wants to know where I purchased it from. I also put a piece of the butcher block across the lower bars and made a lower shelf. Love love love this.

Plan your project right & these will look great!
Size: 38"Height × 14" Wide
These are great legs for a table. They are sturdy and go together nicely. The painted finish is well done, meaning it doesn't scratch or peel or come off easily. Also the way things were packaged was considerate of the weight and possibility of damage during shipment. There were even extra attachment screws included which was helpful since I lost one under the dishwasher. When considering what legs to purchase for your particular table, the height, dimensions, and weight of the top all need to be factored in. I used these bar height legs under a very heavy, 7' long X 2' wide top. Common physics dictates that there will be lateral movement between the 2 "H" shaped leg sets. There HAS to be support between the 2 H leg sets to prevent that lateral movement. So these alone will not support a long table very well, because physics. This is not in any way the fault of this product. Be aware that there is more to the stability equation and be prepared to add cross bracing to your project.
