Lobivia arachnacantha torrecillasense is native to Southern South America and belongs to the Cactaceae family. The succulent is known to be spider web shaped with small clusters of stems. It goes dormant in the cold season and can grow up to a maximum height of 6 inches.

Growth Rate
The cactus is primarily slow growing and takes years to mature. Additionally, its location & current climate determine the growing speed of Lobivia.

Flowering
The flowers of this cactus are extremely showy and are often larger than the plant itself. The blooming period is from spring to summer, and you will love the yellow to yellow-orange flowers.

Watering and Feeding
You can water the plant regularly during all seasons except winter. However, do not overwater and let the soil dry completely in between waterings. You do not need to feed the plant since it takes most of its nutrients from the soil.

Soil
Since Lobivia arachnacantha is very sensitive to the soil, it needs a mic that drains very well and does not retain too much moisture. Add lots of perlite or vermiculite to the soil mix.

Hardiness
Since Lobivia thrives and mostly prefers hot temperatures, it has a hardiness zone of 11. The plant is a little frost hardy, and this is seen in its frost tolerance of -4° C

Light
The more direct and bright sunlight the succulent receives, the better. If you are planting Lobivia indoors, place it less than a foot away from a south-facing window for maximum growth potential.

Propagation
You can propagate Lobivia arachnacantha torrecillasense through woody stem cuttings. Make sure you allow the surface to be callous over properly before planting.

I adopted a raptor instead of a puppy
Color: Teal
He's a chewer. Nothing is safe from his relentless jaws. I have bought him other things to chew which he ignored, preferring rolls of duct tape, empty flower pots and cardboard boxes. But this gator. Well.... NOt only did he love it BUT he opened the bag himself, got the toy out of the box it came in and then carried it proudly into the house. He has chewed the living life out of it so I ordered him another. Cardboard boxes in my house are breathing sighs of relief.

Best dog toy ever!!
Color: Teal
My dog absolutely loves this toy. It's very durable and made from quality materials that she can't destroy and she's an aggressive chewer. It Makes a squeaky sound that encourages and keeps her engaged for longer play times. I will be looking to purchase other dog toys from this company, its worth the money and so happy I bought this for my girl!!

Parts of this are way too hard to be safe for dogs
Color: Royal Blue
My dog sniffed this and took a hard pass. The body is hard rubber, which some dogs might like. However, the head and tail are rock hard plastic - definitely hard enough to break a dog's teeth. I'm glad my dog wasn't interested in it.

Very durable!
Color: Teal
My big guy (American Staffordshire) loves these kind of toys! I love them because he can't tear them apart. The only thing is when he chews on them they become like a cactus.
