What You Will Receive:

  • A healthy, well-rooted Anthurium Tweed with a minimum of 4 leaves.
  • Plant size may vary depending on stock; please refer to product photos for details.
  • Carefully packaged to ensure the plant arrives in perfect condition.

Meet the Anthurium Tweed, a truly standout tropical houseplant prized for its deeply lobed, palmate leaves that look like green fireworks frozen in time. Each leaf fans out gracefully from a central point, creating a bold, sculptural form that instantly adds movement and character to any plant collection. Ideal for both indoor jungle lovers and collectors seeking a charismatic display plant, the Anthurium Tweed is as photogenic as it is delightful to grow.

This tropical aroid isn’t just about looks—it thrives in the right environment and grows into a charismatic showpiece over time. Whether you're styling it on a shelf, placing it in a bright corner, or letting it stretch in a conservatory, Anthurium Tweed will quickly become the center of attention.

LEAFY FAN-SHAPED FLAIR

  • Deeply divided leaves resembling green starbursts or pinwheels
  • Prominent veining adds texture and depth
  • Each new leaf brings a different shape twist

GROWING PERSONALITY

  • Slow to moderate grower that reveals more leaf divisions as it matures
  • Grows upright on long petioles, showing off foliage like a living sculpture
  • Loves humidity and bright, indirect light—just like its tropical roots

Leaf Geometry

  • Botanical: Anthurium polyschistum (“Tweed”)
  • Form: vining/climbing aroid; appreciates a pole, plank, or moss board
  • Blade: multi-lobed, hand-shaped leaf; semi-gloss to satin green; elegant, narrow lobes

Footprint & Reach
Indoors, expect a tidy base with upward leadership when supported; leaf spread and lobe definition improve with height.

Brightness Map
Soft, even daylight (north exposure, bright shade, or morning sun behind a sheer). Guard against hard noon glare to keep lobes crisp.

Hydration Loop
Water when the top layer just dries back; soak through and let runoff exit completely — no standing water.

Mix & Porosity
Open, quick-draining blend: orchid bark + coarse perlite/pumice + coco chips, with a light sphagnum accent. Keep nodes in light contact with a slightly moist support to encourage aerial rooting.

Climate Sweet Spot
~20–29 °C (68–85 °F) and 55–70% RH with gentle airflow to keep leaf margins neat.

Training & Nutrition

  • Tie the leader every 10–15 cm (4–6 in) to a pole/plank for larger, more defined palmate leaves.
  • Feed a balanced fertilizer at ¼–½ strength during active months; taper as growth slows.

Placement Cues
Let side-light skim the leaf to emphasize the radiating lobes; matte or stone planters keep the silhouette clean.

First Two Weeks
Start in cushioned brightness and step it up over 10–14 days. Juvenile leaves may be less divided; lobing deepens with height and consistent support.

A gaze into our past for older LGBTQ persons.
Format: Kindle
So much like a lot of people I watched the Netflix show first, and then purchased all the graphic novels after. I will say the show is pretty true to the original story, however, I do truly love these graphic novels a bit more. As an older member of the LGBTQ it is beautiful to kind of take a trip back to when I was younger in school. I can relate to both Nick's internal struggles and Charlie's outward struggle dealing with other students so it's kind of a two-fer for me personally. This graphic novels tells a lovely story of what actual LGBTQ youth are going through, and for us older folks what we wish we could of went through. Alice Oseman did a beautiful job illustrating this story, because not only were you reading the interactions, you could see the interactions which made it more personal and intimate. I highly recommend this series for not only youth, but for older persons as well. I cannot wait to see more of the Nick and Charlie series if Alice decides to continue their tale.

A beautifully written and illustrated tale of kindness, courage and (imaginary) friendship
Format: Hardcover
A beautifully written and illustrated tale of kindness, courage and friendship (even if the friend is in your imagination). This is a great picture book for building self-esteem and for helping early learners to discover ways to overcome obstacles by showing how upbeat confidence boosting self-talk is the way to go. I adore this beautiful family and how the climb up the slide's stairs is so relatable-you just feel the endless up, up, up as you ascend, like climbing up the stairs of the high dive and looking down and just that whoosh of fear that vertakes you from the seemingly dizzying height. I love the kindness on all the adults' faces and the cute expressions from the child. The lion is magnificent. I love that it gives shape to a child’s imaginary friend and that this friend is a true safety net -which is really the child being their own safety net. The end pages are bright orange and sunny, using the cute lion face in the pattern and all the illustrations, which are predominantly blue and yellow/orange illustrations are the perfect backdrop for the tumble of dark curls on the child’s head which allow the size of the lion to appear gigantic, and yet, calm and sweet like a kitty cat. Very sweet book! I love its message of bravery, confidence building and how you can truly be your own best friend.
