The Manjula pothos (Epipremnum aureum 'Manjula') is a beautiful and relatively easy-to-care-for houseplant known for its distinctive, heart-shaped leaves with diverse variegation. This cultivar, a result of selective breeding, typically displays a mix of green, white, and cream hues in a marbled or splashed pattern across its foliage. Here's a breakdown of its care and propagation:
Care for Manjula Pothos:
 * Light: Manjula pothos thrives in bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, insufficient light may cause the white variegation to fade, and the plant may revert to solid green. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate white parts of the leaves. East or west-facing windows with some obstruction or a spot a few feet away from a south-facing window are ideal.
 * Water: Allow the top 1-3 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Manjula pothos is somewhat drought-tolerant, and overwatering is a more common issue leading to root rot. Ensure your pot has drainage holes to allow excess water to escape. Reduce watering during the cooler months when the plant's growth slows down.
 * Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture. A standard indoor potting mix amended with perlite or coco coir to improve aeration and drainage is suitable.
 * Temperature: Maintain average household temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C). Protect the plant from drafts and extreme temperature fluctuations.
 * Humidity: While Manjula pothos can adapt to average indoor humidity, it prefers higher humidity levels (above 60%). You can increase humidity by placing a humidifier nearby, using a pebble tray with water, or grouping plants together. Bathrooms and kitchens often provide naturally higher humidity.
 * Fertilizing: Manjula pothos does not require frequent fertilization. Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength once a month during the spring and summer (the active growing season). Avoid fertilizing in fall and winter.
 * Pruning: Prune your Manjula pothos to maintain its shape, encourage bushier growth, and remove any yellowing or damaged leaves. You can also trim long vines if they become too extensive. Pruned cuttings can be used for propagation.
Propagation of Manjula Pothos:
Manjula pothos is easily propagated through stem cuttings, which can be rooted in water or directly in soil. Here's how:
 * Take a cutting: Using clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears, take a stem cutting that is 4-5 inches long. Ensure the cutting includes at least one node (the small bump on the stem where a leaf grows).
 * Prepare the cutting: Remove the leaves from the bottom half of the cutting to expose the nodes.
 * Rooting in water: Place the cutting in a jar or glass of fresh water, ensuring that at least one node is submerged. Place the jar in a location with bright, indirect light. Change the water weekly to keep it fresh. Roots should begin to develop within a few weeks. Once the roots are at least an inch long, you can plant the cutting in a pot with well-draining potting mix.
 * Rooting in soil: Alternatively, you can plant the prepared cutting directly into moist, well-draining potting mix. Ensure that at least one node is buried in the soil. Place the pot in a warm location with bright, indirect light and keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Root development may take a bit longer with this method.
Remember that the Manjula pothos is a patented variety, so commercial propagation for sale is prohibited without permission. However, propagating for your own enjoyment and to share with friends is a great way to expand your collection!

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
