Care for calla lilies by planting them in loose, well-drained soil. They prefer to be located in full sun in areas that experience cool summers, but should be placed in partial shade in hot summer areas. Calla lilies enjoy consistent moisture and they will also benefit from a monthly dose of fertilizer throughout the growing season. Hardiness zones range from 7-10.
