This fast-growing plant is widely used as a ground cover due to its vigorous spreading habit.

Native Range

Native to southern Europe and northern Africa, Vinca major thrives in temperate and Mediterranean climates.

Growing Zones

USDA Hardiness Zones: 6–9 (perennial evergreen ground cover).  In colder zones (below Zone 6), it may die back but return in spring.
