A spectacular and easy-to-grow statement plant that’s hard to find (especially at this large size!) Philodendron ruizii is a must-have for plant parents who have discerning taste. It features shiny, dark green sword-like leaves that can reach more than 30 inches long. This Aroid instantly gives any space an upscale tropical feel.

Despite its exotic look, Philodendron ruizii is easy to care for. Like many Philodendrons, it tolerates drying out pretty well, holds up to average relative humidity levels, and survives lower-light levels. This makes it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced houseplanters.

Order now and our growers will hand-select your Philodendron ruizii fresh from the farm. We’ll pack it up and deliver it direct to your door (with no stores or warehouses in between). Shipping and handling is included in the price.

  •     Easy-care: As low-maintenance as Golden Pothos!
  •     Stunning long-narrow leaves have an architectural feel
  •     Can eventually climb, making it a fun choice for a plant wall or moss pole
  •     Can live and grow bigger and more beautiful for decades with good care

Plant Bio

Philodendron ruizii

A gorgeous climbing Aroid native to areas of western South America, Philodendron ruizii isn’t commonly seen in North American homes, particularly at a large, nearly mature size like this. It was officially published back in 1854 and was named for Spanish botanist Hipólito Ruiz López.

For the happiest plant, give it a spot with medium to bright light (within 3 feet away from a good-sized east or west window is ideal). It tolerates lower light levels but will be significantly slower growing. Water it as the top half or so if the potting mix dries to the touch. Take care not to overwater; if in doubt, it’s better to keep this plant too dry than too wet. Average household temperatures and humidity levels are fine for this low-maintenance climbing houseplant (though it does appreciate above-average relative humidity).

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

Awesome old-school 1990's feel
Color: Black/Black/Digital
besides the timer than can be set to do interval training, and the 100 lap memory, there is also a cute memo function that can store 10 memos, with 3 pages each. I use to help me remember my children's phone numbers.

Nostalgia is costly.
Color: Black/Black/Digital
It’s a nice watch but in no way is it worth the price. You’re paying a huge nostalgia fee with this one. At best this is a $40 watch. Battery life is horrible (3 years) and it loses 1-2 seconds a day. For a digital quartz watch that is extremely poor. I thought mine might be a poor example but after researching online I found the majority of new flix owners report losing at least 1-2 seconds a day. As a Casio fan, it’s hard to see what the draw is to Ironman watches. Casio has them beat in almost every category. The only thing I think the timex wins at is the screen legibility at extreme angles. Anyways, I got it because I had a flix in high school and it brings back some memories. I believe the nostalgia factor is why these watches have any appeal at all.
