It tolerates a wide range of conditions and is forgiving of inconsistent watering, making it an excellent entry point for new plant owners.

Origins
Epipremnum species are native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands, where they grow as hemiepiphytes climbing from the forest floor into the canopy. 'Happy Leaf' is a cultivar selected for its bright, high-contrast variegation.

Soil and Substrate
Our Jungle Potting Mix suits pothos well: a balanced peat-free blend with good drainage and moisture retention. Water when the top 2–3 cm of substrate is dry. It tolerates lower light but the variegation is brightest in good indirect light.
