String of buttons Crassula perforata is a low-maintenance, non-toxic succulent. It has a very distinctive look with thick, triangular leaves stacked snugly around the stems. The leaves are pale green with reddish edges that change to a deeper red shade when exposed to bright sunlight.
String of Buttons is a relatively fast-growing shrubby succulent that is perfect for terrariums and hanging baskets. It can grow up to 18 inches in height.
In spring, String of Buttons produces unscented star-shaped yellow flowers. -
String of Buttons needs at least 6 hours of light daily. It tolerates different lighting conditions, from full-sun to partial shade, but it grows best under very bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight may help to intensify the color of the leaves, but intense, scorching sun might be harmful to this plant.
As a succulent, String of Buttons does not need frequent watering. Only water when the soil is dry to the touch. Water thoroughly and drain well after each watering. Reduce watering in colder months.
This plant likes sandy, well-drained, porous potting soil. You can use cacti and succulent potting soil or mix some peat with general houseplant soil to improve drainage.
This plant grows best in normal room temperatures (between 65°F-80°F). It can be grown outdoors in warm climate regions (USDA zones 9 and higher). It does not grow well in extreme heat or freezing temperatures.
This plant should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.
This plant is non-toxic. -

Still in tack.

Considering they are all still in tack with a frenchie and a Rotty playing with they I have to give them a 5. When I bought them I didn’t think they’d last the week. It’s been almost a month and they are still in tack with some very rough playing. My doggies love them.

Not indestructible, but still good product

These definitely aren’t indestructible. My dog got into two of them within a week. I do love that they aren’t filled with batting . She still loves to play with them even without a squeaker or the inside plastic piece.

Great, durable toy!
Style: Donkey&Sloth
My chihuahua tears the stuffing out of her toys, so I needed something different. This toy is perfect and the fact that there are two is even better. There is always one she can find. The size is just right for her to drag around, shake fiercely, and cuddle up to when she is done. She has had them for about three months and they are very durable. Other toys would have been torn up by now.

Hana approved, gold star toy

This is, according to Amazon, our 11th set in 3 months. According to Hana, our shiba/chi mix, this toy is immaculate. Crunch score is a 10/10 and the squeak? Don't get her started. High pitched, easy to squeak and protected by just enough crunch and fabric that it actually lasts. In fact, she will tear the toy open before the squeaker gives up. This may seem like a small feat, however most toys last 12-30 minutes before the teefies take the squeaker out of commission. Lambchops last about 15 minutes before the squeaker gives in and fluff decorates the floor. The only reason we buy so many so often is because 1. The teefies do eventually puncture and the moment that happens she guts the poor Claw instantly. And 2. She has about 11 teefies, so the mouth gets kinda icky and due to the crunch, washing these kind of sucks- retains a lot of water and cant dry. So we replace them often even if she doesn't get to the gutting.
10/10. Its her favorite toy. And we've tested a lot of toys.
