About Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms'

The succulent plant known as 'Falling Cherry Blossoms' belongs to the Echeveria genus within the Crassulaceae family. The leaves of Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms' are thick and tightly clustered together, forming a rosette that resembles a rose. The leaves have small pointed tips. When it is thriving, the leaves become vibrant and showcase shades of red or pink. There may also be dark markings or spots on the leaf surfaces.

How to care for Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms'

Sun: Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms' thrives in well-lit areas with ample sunlight. However, it's essential to protect the plant from intense and scorching sunlight, especially during the hot summer months. Providing shade or relocating the plant to an area with filtered light will help maintain an optimal balance of sunlight, ensuring healthy growth and preventing leaf damage from excessive exposure.

Temperature: Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms' thrives in moderate temperatures from 65°F to 75°F. While it can tolerate slightly higher temperatures, shielding the plant from extreme heat or frost is crucial. To prevent stress and sunburn during hot periods, it's recommended to offer some shade or relocate the plant to a cooler spot. Similarly, during frosty conditions, bringing the plant indoors or providing protection to avoid damage from the cold is advisable. Maintaining an appropriate temperature range will support optimal growth and ensure the succulent's overall health.

Soil: When planting Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms', select a soil mix specifically formulated for succulents and cacti that promotes good drainage. This soil type prevents water from pooling around the roots, minimizing the chances of root rot occurring. A soil mixture with approximately 60% drainage material is recommended to ensure that the roots are not prone to rotting. However, for young succulents, a slightly lower ratio of around 30% drainage material can be suitable to promote healthy root development. Finding the right balance in the soil composition is important to provide the ideal growing conditions for your succulents.

Water: To ensure the well-being of your Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms', it is advisable to water the plant moderately and allow the soil to completely dry between each watering session partially. It is crucial to avoid overwatering, as it can harm the plant's health. During the active growth period, water deeply but infrequently, making sure that any excess water drains away from the pot. As the plant enters its dormant phase in winter, watering frequency is reduced due to decreased water requirements.

Propagation: Echeveria 'Falling Cherry Blossoms' can be propagated through leaf or stem cuttings. To propagate through stem cuttings, allow the cut end to callus over for a few days before planting it in well-draining soil.

ONE At A Time now
Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls
Thankful I bought two sets for this family of 4. Quite inconvenient to be able to make 2 people their ice cream while 2 others wait (or change their mind while waiting) Makes no sense why this set comes with ONE CHURN. Recipe booklet was minimal I got more from YouTube. Lids should come with the kit not separate. It was exciting to make yet disappointing we had to take turns and couldn't work together all at once. Ice cream was good, soft serve preferred.

Small Investment with Great Results
Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls, Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls
I'm just getting into making ice cream at home and after doing weeks of exhaustive research, including probably 100 hours of YouTube videos (I know, I have a problem, but the research is for me a big part of the fun), I was ready to set my budget at between $200 and $400 for a compressor ice cream machine. Then I ran across this Dash My Cup Set. I returned to YouTube and after just a few videos I decided that for a small fraction of my initial budget I could "get my feet wet" with the My Cup. Another deciding factor was that the Freezer Mugs were small enough to not sacrifice too much of my freezer space. I've made several batches of ice cream using both the included recipes and some I have found online and I must say, the results have been fabulous. Sure the finished ice cream right out of the machine is a soft serve consistency but after a couple of hours in the freezer you will have ice cream firm enough to form excellent scoops. Just be sure to follow good recipes otherwise you may end up with ice cream hard as a rock. So learning a bit about the science of ice cream is critical for good results. Although the portion size is small, it's actually bigger than I expected. I'm an ice cream lover and sure, polishing off the entire batch in one sitting is no problem but, I am definitely satisfied with the amount. And if you opt for the Set with the extra mug, you'll always have a mug ready for your next batch. Definitely the way to go in my opinion. The My Mug is very well made (as are most of the Dash products of which I have an Egg Cooker and a Waffle Iron) and the motor will turn the dasher through the thickest of recipes. If you overload with mix-ins it might run into difficulties but otherwise you're good to go. Will the My Mug be the "end game" ice cream machine? Probably not. But for a small investment I can experiment with different recipes and see where this new found hobby takes me. And even if I do get a larger, fancier and more expensive machine in the future, I will probably keep the My Mug anyway to test out new flavors. This way I can see what I like without wasting too many ingredients.

Not bad for an inexpensive ice cream maker
Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls
For something this cheap, it’s definitely not that bad. The directions are easy to follow but I went and put the ice cream in the freezer for at least 30 mins more to cool the ice cream to the perfect consistency and it turned out great! After I made vanilla ice cream from the recipe in the book, I started concocting my own recipes and everything has turned out yummy!

Better than my $100 coffee maker!
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
Bought this to replace a very expensive coffee maker that broke after a year and a half. Works excellent! Freed up so much counter space. Saw complaints about the hot plate peeling so I always make sure the bottom of the coffee pot is dry and have had no issues. No leakage as long as the basket is in correctly. Love this simple yet very functional coffee maker.

Good buy
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
I have used another brand for more than two decades but the style and options have changed too much. So I gave this B+D a try. It works great! Simple to use, clean and operate. Brews coffee perfectly. Seems dependable and shuts off when it's supposed to do so. For the price range, you cannot go wrong.
