Light: Pothos plants prefer indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight in the morning and afternoons is okay as the light is less harsh. If your room has a window you will be fine, although a pothos will grow faster the brighter the room is. Moving it from low light to bright light may shock it, so you should gradually introduce it if you plan on changing its light source.

Water: Global Green Pothos prefer to dry out between waterings. Press your finger about an inch into the soil and if it is damp, do not water it. If it is dry it is time to water. In the summer you will water twice as much as the winter waterings.

Soil: Well-draining potting mix will let a pothos thrive.

Humidity: The average humidity in a house is great

The material on the gator is amazingly durable and I believe would hold up for a good while. The squeaker inside the toy however, broke after 2 days of my girl playing with it. It's now a noiseless toy that she does not like too much as it does not squeak because it only had the one squeaker in it. I would recommend that 2 squeakers be inserted into this gator. I would not purchase again due to the longevity of the squeaker...only lasted 2 days.

The rest of him is great. I will be replacing him soon.
