The Silver Flame Snake Plant, also known as the Whitney Sanseveria, has sword-like leaves that are dark green with silvery margins.  The leaves are arranged in rosettes and have "trifasciata" edges.   As the leaves age, they darken, masking out most of the silver-green striping.

Snake Plant Basic Care: Easy

• Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between watering. Avoid keeping it constantly moist, and do not water the center of the plant to prevent rot.
• Light: This plant needs very little natural light and can be placed almost anywhere.
• Soil/Drainage: Well-draining soil mixes for cacti and succulents are ideal. If not overwatered, they can tolerate a standard houseplant mix.
• Temperature/Humidity: Performs well in average room temperature and humidity levels.
