Sempervivum ‘Highland Mist’ (Mitchell) forms a compact shamrock-green rosette coated in a layer of silvery fuzz, giving the entire plant a soft, dewy or misted appearance. The fine hair-like coating helps reflect light and adds texture to the rosette. This variety offsets readily and will spread to fill available space, making it well suited for rock gardens, crevice plantings, and outdoor containers.
Sempervivum plants originate from mountainous regions of Europe, where they are adapted to bright sun, rocky soils, and cold winters. ‘Highland Mist’ performs best outdoors, maintaining tight rosettes and consistent coloration throughout the seasons.

Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
Non-toxic to dogs, cats, and horses (Pet-friendly).

Fits well and installs easily.

This filter looked about the same as the OEM filter. It installed in about a minute. The quality appeared to be fine. It was protected in a cardboard box. It fit my 2014 Subaru Outback perfectly. I just installed it an hour ago so I don’t have any long term observations about longevity or effectiveness. I can’t see any reason why it would not work as well as the original, it seemed identical.
