Dieffenbachia este o planta de interior foarte indragita datorita aspectului spectaculos al frunzelor sale, fiind des intalnita atat in decorarea caselor cat si a spatiilor de birouri.
Dieffenbachia este a 4-a pe lista "premiantilor" in Feng Shui, avand deopotriva atributii in decorarea eleganta a spatiilor inchise, cat si in privinta purificarii aerului si neutralizarii substantelor poluante. 

Ingrijire:

  1. Lumina: Prefera lumina indirecta moderata spre puternica. Evita expunerea directa la soare, deoarece poate provoca arsuri pe frunze. Se adapteaza bine si in conditii de lumina mai scazuta.

  2. Udare: Are nevoie de udare moderata. Solul trebuie sa fie mentinut usor umed, dar nu ud, pentru a preveni putrezirea radacinilor. Este important sa permiti stratului superior al solului sa se usuce intre udari.

  3. Solul: Planta prefera un sol bine drenat, bogat in materie organica. Un amestec universal de pamant de flori, combinat cu perlit sau nisip, este ideal.

  4. Umiditate: Dieffenbachia Reflector prefera un mediu cu umiditate ridicata. Pulverizarea regulata a frunzelor sau utilizarea unui umidificator poate ajuta la mentinerea unui mediu favorabil.

  5. Temperatura: Se dezvolta cel mai bine la temperaturi intre 18-24°C. Evita expunerea la curenti de aer rece sau temperaturi sub 15°C.

  6. Fertilizare: In perioada de crestere activa (primavara si vara), fertilizarea lunara cu un ingrasamant lichid pentru plante verzi este recomandata. In perioada de repaus, fertilizarea poate fi redusa sau oprita.
