Mass cane, also known as Dracaena massangeana or corn plant, is a popular ornamental plant appreciated for its attractive foliage and ease of care. Here's some information about mass cane:

Appearance: Mass cane has long, sword-shaped leaves that emerge from a central stalk, resembling the shape of corn stalks, hence its common name "corn plant." The leaves are typically dark green with yellow or light green stripes running along the edges, giving them a variegated appearance. Mature mass cane plants can reach heights of up to 6 to 10 feet indoors, with a bushy and upright growth habit.
Growth Habit: Mass cane is a slow-growing plant with a sturdy and upright growth habit. It forms a central stalk from which multiple leaves emerge, creating a dense and bushy appearance. Over time, mass cane plants may develop multiple stalks, further enhancing their fullness.
Native Habitat: Mass cane is native to tropical regions of Africa, where it grows in forests and other shaded habitats. It is commonly cultivated as an ornamental plant in homes, offices, and indoor landscapes around the world.

Care Requirements:

  • Light: Mass cane thrives in medium to bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may grow more slowly and produce fewer new leaves.
  • Temperature: Mass cane prefers temperatures between 60°F to 80°F (15°C to 27°C). It is sensitive to cold drafts and should be protected from sudden temperature fluctuations.
  • Watering: Water mass cane thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, allowing excess water to drain from the bottom of the pot. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot.
  • Humidity: Mass cane prefers moderate to high humidity levels but can tolerate average indoor humidity. Mist the leaves occasionally or place the plant on a humidity tray to increase humidity levels.
  • Soil: Plant mass cane in a well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. Avoid heavy soils that retain excess moisture, as they can lead to root rot.
  • Fertilization: Feed mass cane with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop fertilizing during the fall and winter months.

Propagation: Mass cane can be propagated through stem cuttings. Cut a healthy stem section with at least a few leaves attached and plant it in a pot with well-draining soil. Keep the soil consistently moist until roots develop, usually within a few weeks.
Maintenance: Prune dead or yellowing leaves regularly to maintain the plant's appearance and promote healthy growth. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep them clean.

Overall, mass cane is a low-maintenance and visually appealing plant that adds a touch of tropical beauty to indoor spaces. With proper care, it can thrive and become a long-lasting and attractive addition to your home or office décor.

Better quality than the no-name brands
Size: 3 Pack, Color: Optic Yellow
I’ve played with quite a few different pickleballs over the past couple of years, including several cheaper “no-name” brands, and these Franklin X-40 balls consistently perform better for me. The biggest difference is durability. These seem to hold up much better to hard hits and regular outdoor play without cracking as quickly as many lower-cost balls I’ve tried. Even after multiple games, they maintain their shape and playability better than most bargain options. I also really like the bright optic yellow color. They’re easy to track during fast rallies and remain very visible in different lighting conditions, which makes a noticeable difference during competitive games. Performance-wise, they have a very consistent feel and bounce. There’s a reason these are used so widely in organized play and tournaments—they simply play reliably from game to game. While they may cost a little more than generic brands, I’ve actually found them to be a better value over time because they last longer and don’t need replacing nearly as often. Overall, these are my go-to outdoor pickleballs now. Durable, highly visible, and consistent on the court. Definitely worth it if you play regularly.

The Indispensable Standard for Outdoor Play
Size: 12 Pack, Color: Optic Yellow
As someone who genuinely lives on the pickleball court, having reliable equipment isn't a preference—it’s a necessity. The Franklin Sports X-40 Outdoor Pickleballs are the gold standard for a reason. From the moment you serve, the flight is true, offering predictable speed and a consistent, high-bounce off the court face, making every rally feel authentic and competitive. The 40 precision-drilled holes ensure that they cut through the wind effectively, minimizing drift on those breezy days that are inevitable in outdoor play. I’ve hit these with powerful serves and vicious third-shot drops, and they maintain their shape and integrity beautifully, far outlasting many other brands I’ve tried. However, let’s be honest about the one thing every dedicated player knows: you can never, ever have enough pickleballs. Even with the durability of the X-40, balls get lost in the bushes, occasionally crack under extreme force, or are simply needed for high-volume drilling. If you’re serious about the game, stocking up on these is essential—not just because they're great, but because having a full inventory is the only way to ensure the game never stops. If you’re looking for a ball that delivers official, tournament-level performance and holds up play after play, the X-40 is the one to get.

Bright, Smooth, and Worth the Price
Size: 12 Pack, Color: Optic Yellow
These pickleball balls are excellent quality and absolutely worth the price. I was hesitant at first because they cost a little more than other options for the same quantity, but the difference is obvious once you use them. They glide smoothly, feel like high‑end material, and the bright color is a huge plus especially in low lit areas where visibility can be an issue. They’re easy to spot on the court and stand out even when multiple games are going on. The color is noticeably brighter than most pickleballs I’ve seen, which makes them easy to identify and retrieve. The overall quality and size really speaks for itself. I highly recommend them.

Great Outdoor Pickleballs for Practice and Games
Size: 6 Pack, Color: Multi
These pickleballs have been great overall for outdoor play. The colors are bright and easy to see on the court, which is especially helpful during evening games or when playing on darker surfaces. They have a consistent bounce and feel durable compared to some cheaper pickleballs I’ve tried before. I also like that they fly pretty true and don’t wobble too much during rallies. They work well for both casual games and more competitive practice sessions. The balls feel solid off the paddle and provide a good balance of speed and control. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because a couple of the balls started showing small cracks after extended outdoor use on rough courts. They still lasted longer than many other brands, but I expected slightly better durability considering the price. They can also feel a bit harder than some softer outdoor balls, especially in colder weather. Overall though, these are reliable pickleballs and definitely a good choice for outdoor play. I’d buy them again for practice and recreational matches.
