Enjoy a climbing/trailing Monstera that’s variegated AND easy to grow by adding Monstera siltepecana (sometimes called Silver Monstera) to your collection! This gorgeous houseplant sports medium green arrow-shaped leaves overlaid in silver. As it climbs and matures, the leaves get bigger—just like most other Monstera. They also develop fenestrations, giving it a bold and unique look.

We bet you’ll love how this fast-growing houseplant looks in your favorite space, no matter how you grow it. Plant Bio

Monstera siltepecana

Originally found in tropical rainforests from Mexico to Panama (its name, siltepecana, comes from the town where it’s said to be first discovered, Siltepec, near the Mexico/Guatemala border), Monstera siltepecana is surprisingly well suited to life as a houseplant.

You don’t need to have tropical rainforest conditions to be successful with your plant. But starting with lots of bright light helps. Inside as a houseplant, the more light it gets, the better. It tolerates lower light levels, but you’ll find it’s even easier growing with more light than less.

Water as the top half or so of the soil dries to the touch. If you’re not sure if it needs water or not, it’s usually better to wait as it would prefer to be a bit too dry than a bit too wet. It will start to wilt if it gets excessively dry, but it’s best to prevent wilt if you can.

This houseplant grows well in average household temperatures, but thanks to its tropical roots, it holds up to heatwaves and doesn’t require particular care when the mercury soars. Do try to keep it over about 50F/10C for best results.

It does all right in average household relative humidity levels but prefers above-average relative humidity (over 50 percent) if you’re able to provide it.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

I am a fan of La Roche Posay but...
I have been buying La Roche Posay skin products for a long time.. but this foundation just doesn't work! I have to say it blends very well.. but it doesn't sit on the skin!!! If you accidentally touches your face, the foundation would just fall off like that. I can't even say it doesn't last long because it never lasted in the first place. This is not cheap too, so I was very disappointed.

Makes me look older - Not for me!
This review is for the 05 Dark Beige color of the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Mattifying Mousse Matte Foundation for Oily Skin and Sensitive Skin. Disclaimer: This review was written by my wife! We ordered "Honey Beige" and received "05 hâlé - Dark beige", which is not one of the colors offered on the product page. Hâlé means sunburned or tanned, and it is for darker skin, not for the darkest skin tones. It’s too dark for me, as I usually use the second lightest color for foundations. PROS The foundation is not fragrant like some of their products Does not irritate my skin at all Does not give a cakey look Covers pores and uneven skin colors well Looks beautiful right after the application CONS In less than a couple of hours, my skin, especially forehead area, looks almost exactly like the texture of "saffiano printed calf skin", with numerous fine straight-line wrinkles going both vertically and horizontally. I could not believe that, so I tried the foundation with and without moisturizers and foundation bases, but my forehead still ended up in looking like the material with which my purse is made. I don't even have visible wrinkles on my forehead without the foundation, so it ended up making my skin look far worse, rather than better. Not recommended.

Very good foundation
So far, this is working very well for me. It is a little dark for my winter color, but I lighten it with a bit of moisturizer. In the summer when my skin gets more sun, the shade should be perfect.

Light and airy
It is a mousse and goes on so light and airy. Love the way it feels. I dont need a lot of coverage, this went on natural and thin, which was exactly what I need.
