Chlorophytum Com. Variegatum Care

Spider plant, Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum', is one of the easiest houseplants to grow. Grown for its colourful, variegated foliage and stems of baby plants which hang from long stems like flowers, it's the perfect choice for popping on a shelf in the study or living room. It also looks good in hanging baskets and outdoor container displays in summer, but must be taken indoors again in autumn.

Pot Size – 12, Height – 30 cm

Light

A spider plant likes bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it has the potential to scorch the leaves. Spider plants will grow in low light.

Watering

Water when the soil is dry, for about three centimeters. Use room-temperature, non-calcareous water, preferably rainwater. When watering, avoid wetting the leaves.

For some reason the other was stalled somewhere in Kentucky as of this morning and upon communication a replacement was ordered by Amazon.
