Philodendron crassinervium's dramatic, elongated foliage is a beautiful,  bright green, with very thick, fleshy midribs that are used for water storage.  Philodendron crassinervium is a variable species and does not always maintain the same leaf shape or size.  Philodendron crassinervium grows in a variety of habitats including as a lithophyte (growing on stone), is normally terrestrial with erect leaves. It will climb but if given good light it will ramble along the ground. Philodendron crassinervium is endemic to Brazil's Restinga Forest near the Atlantic Ocean,  often close to the beach. Can reach anywhere between 3'-12' tall when provided a support, and encourage larger foliage development -  each leaf can grow 3' long, and 3"-4" wide.

~Do Not place in full sun. Though many Philodendron can be acclimated to full sun, our Philodendron have been grown under shaded, greenhouse conditions.

~Philodendron are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.
