What is an Anthurium?
Anthuriums (often called “flamingo flowers”) can hold each bloom for up to eight weeks, with fresh ones popping up often. What looks like the flower is actually a waxy, heart-shaped leaf called a spathe, while the true blooms are the tiny structures on the central spadix.
What is an Orchid?
Phalaenopsis Orchids, or "moth orchids," are prized for their arching stems and intricate flowers. Symbolizing grace and new beginnings, Orchids typically bloom once or twice a year; however, bloom cycles can last up to three months. After flowers drop, the plant is simply recharging to bloom again.
- Each plant is unique; size and shape vary by season
- Orchids arrive in 5" nursery grow pots, and measure 20–28 inches tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
