DESCRIPTION
For Rubber Plant lovers, it’s all about the retro-chic wide and glossy leaves. Ficus elastica Robusta is a contemporary variety of the classic rubber plant. It is very similar in appearance but with leaves that are broader and more shiny. As one of the most effective air-purifying plants, the Robusta is an amazing addition to any interior space.
The rubber plant prefers bright, indirect light and watering of about once every 7-10 days when at least the top 50% of the soil is dry. Overwatering it can cause stress and leaf drop. But the good news is you can adjust the watering as necessary and the plant will be able to recover in time.
It is also best to clean the rubber plant’s leaves regularly with a soft cloth or sponge to keep it glossy and dust-free.
