Welcome, gamemasters! Calo’s Book of Monsters is a tome of monsters created under the third party license for the Mörk Borg roleplaying game by Pelle Nilsson and Johan Nohr. This 64-page book -- designed around 6.25" wide by 11" tall pages -- includes twenty new monsters that may or may not be suitable to your campaign.

NOTE: The zip file includes the book as both single pages and as spreads.

In addition to the necessary game statistics and monster descriptions, each of the creatures on the following pages includes an “involving the heroes” section that suggests ways in which the player characters may encounter/become involved with the monster. As with everything included in this book, these are simply ideas that you should twist, warp, rewrite, and adapt to suit the needs of your campaign.

The book also includes a d66 table of rumors and a small region that can be dropped into almost any campaign. In total, Calo's Book of Monsters provides the GM with enough concepts and ideas to slaughter every PC your players bring to the table.

This PDF was created thanks to the support of 1,081 backers who joined in the Kickstarter campaign for Calo's Book of Monsters. Thank you to all of the supporters for making that campaign a success!

Calo’s Book of Monsters is an independent production by Philip Reed and is not affiliated with Ockult Örtmästare Games or Stockholm Kartell. It is published under the MÖRK BORG Third Party License.

Cut the Cord and Never Looked Back!
Color: Grey
I'd been using a wired mouse forever and kept telling myself the cord wasn't that annoying. Spoiler: it was. The moment I switched to the WisFox 2.4G Wireless Mouse, I realized what I'd been putting up with all along — and there's no going back now. Setup was dead simple. Plug the little USB receiver into the laptop, and it just works. No drivers to hunt down, no pairing headaches, no nonsense. The 2.4G connection is solid and responsive — I haven't noticed any lag or signal dropout, even when the receiver is tucked into a port on the back of the laptop. The cursor tracks smoothly across my desk surface without any skipping or stuttering. The ergonomic shape is a genuine plus. It fits naturally in the hand during long sessions and doesn't leave my wrist feeling fatigued the way some flatter mice do. The buttons have a satisfying, tactile click without being loud enough to bother anyone nearby. My one gripe — and it's pretty minor — is that it runs on batteries, which means you'll eventually need to swap them out. It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch, and the battery life has been reasonable so far, but if you're used to a wired mouse that just runs forever, it's a small adjustment to keep a spare AA or two around. Pros: Instant plug-and-play setup with the USB receiver Reliable, lag-free 2.4G connection Comfortable ergonomic shape for extended use Great freedom of movement without cord clutter Cons: Runs on batteries — plan to keep a spare on hand If you're still tethered to a wired mouse and on the fence about making the jump, this is a solid, no-fuss way to do it. Hope this helps!

OK, Mouse
Color: Grey
It is comfortable to use and it works as advertised. The button click is soft and quiet, so there is very little tactile feedback. I often drop a selected object in a click and drag motion. The mouse is OK for general use, but I would not recommend it for CAD or art. This mouse goes to sleep very quickly. I imagine this saves the battery. It doesn't wake on motion, it wakes on button click. With a laptop, the mouse goes to sleep after any short break. It behaves differently than other wireless mice.

Comfortable fit for arthritis hands and on the fly functions.
Color: Grey
I bought my wife this mouse in 2022 and she has had no issues with it. I had a different wireless mouse that I used that started causing issues in my everyday working and the speed and clicks of the mouse were causing issues. I decided to steal her mouse for a while and found, wow, this is great. I bought myself on and totally love the response I get. The DPI change on the fly is the game changer for me. You can instantly click to change the speed of the curser and make your clicks more accurate. This will be my mouse for choice. I have arthritis in my knuckles but, this mouse does not bother my hand at all. totally comfortable for a 12 hour workday.
