Dracaena marginata is a drought tolerant plant, but does not allow the soil to dry out completely. It likes a warm environment and its optimum growth temperature is 18°C ​​to 24°C . During winter, the plants will grow slower, so they don't need as much water and fertilizer. The plant needs regular pruning when grown indoors to maintain its shape and health.
