Lithops Living is a unique succulent from the Aizoaceae family. The plant has a common name “Split Rock Plant” as it only has a pair of leaves that look like stones. Lithops plant goes into dormancy in late spring or early summer. Growing up to 6 inches in height, this excellent succulent originates from Southern Africa.

Growth Rate

Lithops living stones are slow-growing and easy to care for.

Flowering

Lithops bloom in gorgeous bright yellow color from mid-fall to early winter. The flowers look colorful and have a sweet fragrance.

Watering

Watering every couple of weeks during its growing season is recommended. Avoid letting the soil remain wet and soggy. Living rocks plants cannot survive for too long if overwatered.

Soil

Lithops must be planted in well-drained soil or a cactus potting mix. Materials like sand or pebbles can be added to improve drainage.

Hardiness

This succulent plant is hardy in zones 10a to 11b. As it is frost intolerant, it is better to plant this variety indoors if you live in colder areas with temperatures 50° F (10° C).

Light

Lithop living stone grows best in full to partial sun. Place your succulent in bright sunlight during the morning and partial shade during the afternoon. Your plant needs a south or east-facing window for better results.

Propagation

The propagation process of these houseplants can be done by seeds or division. Growing lithops from seeds is a popular yet common method.

Lithops Living “Split Rock Plant” can be a lovely addition to your plant collection.

Glad I got one!
Works well. Easy to use for a manual grinder. Got this one for our camping kit as the wife and I are both aging into coffee snobs. Comes apart and it's easy to clean if you need to. Just pay attention to how it comes apart and you should be able to get it all to fit back together easily enough. I don't think it's possible to put things in backwards but given some of the guys I work with I'm learning never to underestimate people's ability to force something that doesn't belong there into place.

A really good grinder.

Probably one of the better purchases I have made in quite some time. My electric one is good and takes no effort to use, but if there is a power outage you can't use it. This one is sleek and compact. You can take it with you just about anywhere. I have been using it for only a few weeks and the durability seems really good. Also, it grinds more precisely than my electric one because of the variety of settings. The handle comes off after the grind and can be a little cumbersome to store, but that's a small issue. It's little bit of work, so if you're used to convenience maybe have that in mind, but really if we can't spend a few extra minutes to grind some beans then that's just a good problem to have in life. Maybe if you have a hand or wrist injury you can stick with the electric, but the work really is minimal and it's cool little thing to add to the morning/afternoon ritual. Highly recommend.

Perfect for what I needed.

Love it! If you love fresh ground coffee it’s a must have! We use a Stainless steel k-Cup in our name brand coffee maker. This grinds the exact amount for a K-Cup refill. I think if you were grinding coffee for a full pot it would definitely not be worth the time and effort however for a single cup or a drip coffee maker it works really well! The grind size adjustment is on the main shaft of the grinder so I find it is easy to accidentally change the size of your grinds. Definitely have to be careful not to hold to high up while grinding coffee. It’s easy to use and hold. Looks nice and has held up well. The little coffee catch is glass so it doesn’t stain and is easy to clean. The kids love grinding my coffee for me. They find it fun as well. We took it camping and it was great for coffee around the fire too! Just don’t forget to put the little glass container on before you bring….. it makes a mess.

Small and mighty. Good quality.

In the past few years we’ve started buying only whole bean coffee to use in our French press. Given a few blackouts this past winter we thought it might be a good idea to have a manual coffee grinder on hand (instead of having reserve grounds). This compact grinder is good for a serving of two. It reminds me of a peppercorn mill and will fit 3 tablespoons of coffee beans. Overall I’m pleased with this product and would purchase it again. However, in the future I would also consider a larger and more ergonomic mill as I usually make at least 4 cups (4 tablespoons) of coffee at a time. The top can also be a little tricky to remove. PROS: - Grind setting works well - Quality feeling materials - Relatively simple to operate - Cost/value CONS: - May be too small for some - Top may be challenging to remove (e.g. Those with arthritis or difficulty with fine motor movement)

Compact, Quiet, and Great for an Office Coffee Upgrade
Color: M01 Black, Color: M01 Black
I bought this to use with my AeroPress at work, and for the price, it’s been a solid addition. The ceramic conical burr delivers a noticeably better cup than the pre‑ground coffee in the breakroom, and it grinds two scoops in about 15–20 seconds. It’s quiet, compact, and easy to stash with the rest of my setup. A few things to note: • The body can be slippery, and it occasionally twists in my hand when it catches a bean. A wide rubber band around the body of the grinder fixed that issue however. • Grind consistency is decent, not perfect. After three months I’ve found my sweet spot, but it’s not as uniform as my electric burr grinder at home — which is probably an unfair comparison. Expect small adjustments when switching beans as it can affect bitterness. • I wish it could be taken apart for deeper cleaning; the included brush only reaches the underside of the burrs. Maybe that’s overkill, but I’m used to doing it with my home setup. On the upside, it feels well‑built, works reliably, and the large handle knob is great for anyone with limited grip strength. Overall: A dependable, travel‑friendly grinder that delivers good results for the price. I’m happy with it and would recommend it for office or on‑the‑go brewing.
