Haworthia truncata 'Harry Johnson’ is rosette-shaped and grows leaves with a somewhat pointy end. The plant originates in South Africa and belongs to the family of Asphodelaceae. This plant can grow up to a height of 6 inches.

Growth Rate
The succulent grows at a fast pace. It usually produces flowers after the longest day of the year which falls in the summer season.

Flowering
The flowers are small and white in color. The blunt end of these flowers is often transparent and a sight to see.

Watering and Feeding
Water the plant deeply but infrequently. Remember that they can survive being not watered for long, but can rot if overwatered. You can feed the plant with a succulent fertilizer to improve the coloring of the flowers.

Soil
Make the soil fast draining to keep the roots happy. Try to simulate an environment that resembles sandy and rocky soils. Include large particles like perlite, pumice, or bark.

Hardiness
The good news is that Haworthia truncata 'Harry Johnson’ is frost-hardy. It has a frost tolerance of -1° C (30° F). Keep in mind its frost tolerance of 10-11.

Light
Since the species is known to grow at the base of rocks and bushes, it enjoys partial sunlight. Haworthia 'Harry Johnson’ can tolerate low light environments extremely well but can fall weak if it goes too long without any sunlight.

Propagation
Haworthia 'Harry Johnson’ can be propagated through leaf cuttings, seeds, and offset division. Offset division is undoubtedly the easiest method.

This plant can flexibly grow and nurture both outdoors and at your home. While it does appreciate being taken care of, it can thrive in basic nurturing conditions too.

Wonderful body oil. I’m 61 years old, but I still like to have a little bit of glam. This body oil is not only nourishing it smell smells wonderful and makes your skin glow. For the price you cannot beat it.

My favorite sunscreen
Very easy to use and reapply, prevents sunburn effectively, and I love the way it makes my skin glow. I will say if you are using it properly, you will go through a bottle quickly so I recommend purchasing 2 right out the gate.

Adds a nice glow but stays oily and don’t trust the SPF!
Color: Rose, Color: Rose
Edit: taking this down to 3 stars after I finally got the chance to wear it in the sun for several hours and test the SPF. I went to an outdoor event and wore just the glow oil for 4 hours and got some pretty good sunburns on my face and shoulders (see last photo)! The only reason I didn’t take the stars lower is that they advertise it as a glow glitter oil before spf and that part is true. I’d also note that after an hour in the sun my sweat started to bead up because of the oil- I’d normally sweat yes but in a sheen that isn’t super noticeable vs big drops all over that made me look like I had a fever or something! I also never felt like the oily feeling absorbed into my skin. So I 100% won’t be trusting this for SPF in the future and with the oily feeling I don’t think I’d even wear it for just the shimmer look. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical about the spf of this oil, but I looked at all the ingredients and GPT says it’s good stuff lol! So far I’ve only worn it for maybe an hour so hard to say for sure how effective it is but the ingredients are solid. The oil gives a nice gleam and subtle shimmer to your skin, not too glittery. It is oil so it doesn’t really rub in, I don’t know if I’d wear it with any super nice clothes.

Great alternative to the high end brand.
This product was delightful! Glides on beautifully, and provides great sun protection. I am fairly light complexed and this did its job keeping me from getting burned. It also leaves a beautiful glow on your skin.
