Tradescantia zebrina 'Pink Paradise' foliage is striped with hot pink, purple and silver-gray with purple undersides. Popular as a houseplant in a hanging basket or cascading over the edge as the spiller in a combination planter. Can even be grown as a ground cover! Typically reaches a height of 6", with trailing stems around 2' long or more. Very fast grower, requires frequent pruning to maintain shape and prevent it from getting straggly.

Tolerates a wide range of growing conditions and lighting, from a few hours of direct early morning or late afternoon sun where its colors will be the most vibrant, to filtered light where its color contrast will be a bit more subdued.  Water lightly when top 1" feels dry to the touch. Appreciates evenly moist soil during the growing season, but does not like soggy soil where it is prone to rot.

This is not the toy for your dog is they like to rip them apart. That being, my sister’s dog loved these as his gift. I bought a set of these toys for my 30 lb black labs (mixed breed). They are normally very aggressive chewers, and as a result, these dogs are difficult to find toys for. They destroy pretty much everything except for those very strong rubber toys which are not as much fun for them to play with. So far, these toys have lasted us 2 days and counting which is quite an accomplishment considering their soft toys typically last about 10 min. or so before they start eating the stuffing and pull the squeakers out. Between the plastic noises from the tenticles and the squeakers my dogs have just been having the time of their lives. We have to confiscate them at bedtime so we can sleep! Even though I'm positive these toys will not hold up for much longer because of their chewing habits, it was worth the money to splurge on something fun for them to get so excited to play with. I intend to replace them occasionally as long as we continue getting at least a couple days of use out of them. If your dogs are less aggressive chewers then you should definitely give this toy a try!
