Tylecodon schaeferianus One of the smallest members of this unusual group of winter growing succulent perennials. It makes chubby, rounded green leaves on short branching stems. Tylecodons are winter growers, meaning they need good light & water in the fall through spring, then allowed to go dormant in the summer. In the summer it may drop many or all leaves. They then produce pink flowers in late summer or early fall. A little water once a month or so in the summer is fine, but if you keep it wet then it will rot. Protect from frost.

Plants vary in appearance across the year. They look like sticks in the summer when dormant. In late summer/early fall they flower. Shortly after they leaf out. That is why the pictures look different.

You will receive the plant shown in the last image. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot.
