Origin: Horticultural hybrid resulting from the cross between Fatsia japonica and Hedera helix, developed in France in the 20th century.
Growth: Moderate growth. Indoors, it forms flexible stems that can climb or droop for 60 to 100 cm. Its glossy, 5-lobed foliage is adorned with a marked cream variegation.
Flowers: It rarely flowers indoors. In ideal conditions, it can produce small white to cream umbels in autumn.
Light: Appreciates bright light without intense direct sunlight. Good light is essential to preserve the variegation of the foliage.
Watering: Water moderately. Allow the substrate surface to dry between waterings. Avoid overwatering, which can cause yellowing of the leaves.
Substrate: Use a well-draining potting soil. A mix of houseplant potting soil with added perlite or coco fiber is ideal.
