Product Description:
Imidacloprid 2F Insecticide is a systemic insecticide we love to use as our go-to for grub prevention. Grubs are the larvae of various June beetles (June Bugs). The eggs are laid in the lawn through May, June, and July, possibly into August. They can be a real problem, especially after a mild winter. Grubs damage lawns in every part of the country, from northern cool-season lawns all the way down south to warm-season lawns.

The key to keeping grubs at bay is getting Imidacloprid down prior to the grubs feeding. We recommend you apply Imidacloprid in mid-May and get it watered in (must be watered in with ½” of rain or irrigation). This will prevent grubs for up to 4 months, which is plenty of time to protect your turf from grub damage.

Imidacloprid can also be used to prevent other lawn insect problems, such as chinch bug suppression, mole crickets, emerald ash borer damage, and other insect problems in your trees and shrubs. Please see the product label for more information.

Application Information:

This is a professional formulation and should be applied from a battery sprayer or pump sprayer. It is not to be applied from a hose-end sprayer, such as the quart hose-end sprayer or the Ortho Dial N Spray. It does not deliver enough precision for this product.

Imidacloprid can be used any time during the growing season on all grass types, including the following:

• Cool-Season Lawns -Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass.
• Warm-Season Lawns -Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia.

• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The product will be stored for 2 years under warehouse conditions.
