Compact Standalone Elegance

Tough, cold-hardy, drought-tolerant, yet lush palm that is pest and disease-free, the Dwarf Palmetto Palm is the perfect choice for gardeners desiring a sturdy palm that brings an attractive appeal to landscapes all year long.

This Georgia native withstands temperatures down to 10° F with short drops to 0°F, making them a good choice for smaller landscapes and in cooler areas where other palms may not survive.

The Dwarf Palmetto’s shrubby form make it adaptable to a variety of landscapes. Its large fronds make it stand out as an accent plant or specimen, as well as planted as a group or as a screening plant to cover fences or pool equipment. This plant is also beautiful as a standalone palm as well as under the canopy of larger palms or trees.

These slow-growers have a clumping habit, maturing to around 4 to 6 feet tall and 3 to 5 feet wide. It has big and round, bluish-green, fan-like fronds are divided into segments and attached to smooth stems growing up to 5 feet tall. This palm typically forms multiple trunks but can be trained into a single trunk specimen. White flower stalks bloom in summer followed by small blackberries.

Dwarf Palmetto Palms bring robust attractiveness wherever utilized in the landscape making them the perfect addition to northern landscapes and gardeners that always wanted a palm but felt their environment was too cold.

If you are looking of a Cold-Tolerant Shorter Palm Tree that thrives with basic care and looks amazing then look no further!

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!
