Caesalpinia pulcherrima, a captivating variety of this tropical shrub, showcases a stunning display. Its fern-like leaves provide an elegant contrast to clusters of vibrant red/orange blossoms that resemble flickering flames. The intense red/orange hues adds a touch of drama to any landscape. Reaching heights of 1-3 meters, this shrub thrives in well-draining soil and full sun, especially in warm climates. The Red Peacock Flower's unique allure and ability to attract pollinators make it a striking addition, infusing gardens with vivid color and vibrancy. Its fiery blooms create a dynamic and passionate atmosphere in outdoor spaces. It constantly blooms in zones 10 and 11.  Zones 8-11

Germination

To germinate Caesalpinia pulcherrima seeds, first, scarify the hard seed coat to enhance water absorption and improve germination. This can be achieved by gently rubbing the seeds with sandpaper or nicking them with a knife. After scarification, soak the seeds in room temperature water for 24 hours to further soften the seed coat. Next, prepare a seed tray or small pots with a well-draining seed starting mix, such as a blend of peat moss and perlite. Sow the seeds on the surface of the soil and lightly press them into the mix. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged by misting regularly or using a gentle watering can. Place the tray or pots in a warm location with indirect sunlight, maintaining a temperature between 70-80°F (21-27°C). Germination typically occurs within 2-8 weeks. Once the seedlings emerge, provide them with ample light and gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions if transplanting. Caesalpinia pulcherrima prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Continue to care for the seedlings with proper watering and light as they grow into mature plants.

picky yorkie approved
Size: 0.18 Ounce (Pack of 25)
well, like many of the other members of the dingo fan club, it’s been hard to find consistency with dingo products the last few years likely due to some products being manufactured in more than one country. even though i’ve thrown hundred maybe thousands down the drain trying to appease my picky 13 year old diva, the truth is i still won’t give up bc she likes what she likes! and she likes dingo plain and simply. it’s her world and i’m just living in it LOL! I’ve never had an issue with any of these peanut butter twist stick packages of 25 like i have had with the white and red ones. i usually have to soak them in hot water for a few mins to soften up a bit but not these pb sticks. my yorkie is 13 and doesn’t have the best teeth and is missing a few in the front lol so if something is too hard, she just gives up. this product is great value
