It is preferable that the soil does not contain much organic material, such as peat moss and that the plant is not fertilized with heavy nitrogen as this can cause an explosion of soft, flabby growth that can make the plant prone to bacterial rots. Decomposed granite is often an excellent media as it has many trace minerals and is similar to the South African quartz fields where these and others of the "Stone Mimicry" are found growing. Just What I Needed

Fits my mailbox style sharps containers perfectly. This was easy to mount on the wall. However, it doesn't come with screws. Not a big deal for me, since I have extras from various projects, but it's a wall mounted sharps container holder so I feel like it should have come with screws. Doesn't change my star rating cause it's just what I needed. Would buy again if I needed to.
