🌿 Plant Care Tips

Sunlight:

Needs at least 6 hours of sunlight daily. It thrives in full sun to partial shade, but its roots prefer shade, which can be achieved with mulch.

Soil:

Prefers well-drained, fertile soil. Adding organic matter helps improve soil quality for better growth.

Watering:

Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid overwatering. Reduce watering during colder months.

Ground or Containers:

Grow the Red Jade Vine plant in both the ground and containers. Select a 12-18 inch pot or grow bag with proper drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Fertilising:

Feed with slow-release fertiliser every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season to promote healthy growth. Use vermicompost to boost growth, trichoderma to prevent fungal issues, and bone meal for larger blooms.

Pruning:

Trim the vine after flowering to maintain its shape and encourage fresh growth. Remove any dead or damaged stems.

Support:

Provide a strong structure like a trellis, pergola, or arbor to help the vine climb and flourish.

Climate:

Grows best in tropical and subtropical regions with warm, humid conditions. It does not tolerate frost.

Pest Control:

Generally resistant to pests, but keep an eye out for aphids and caterpillars. Apply neem oil or insecticidal soap. For severe infestations, use biological agents like Beauveria bassiana.

🚫 Common Issues and Solution

Root Rot

Avoid overwatering and ensure the soil has good drainage to prevent root decay.

Temperature Fluctuations

Maintain a warm environment, as cold temperatures can cause leaf drop and hinder growth.

Lack of Blooms

Ensure adequate fertilisation and practice proper pruning to encourage blooming.

Wilting Leaves

Ensure the plant has enough water and adjust if needed to keep it healthy.

✨ Benefits:

Striking Beauty:

The Red Jade Vine’s bold, colourful blooms bring a tropical charm and eye-catching appeal to any garden.

Natural Shade & Privacy:

With its dense foliage, this vine creates cool, shaded areas and serves as a natural privacy screen.

Solutions to the eradication of subtle racism that still exists in the United States
Format: Kindle
In this book - Colorblind: The Rise of Post-Racial Politics - Tim Wise called out those who are in denial of racism in the era of Obama. He not only gave examples of existence, but also enunciated solutions to tackle it. In fact there are everything to be done both in private capacity as well as public policies. Anyone who is perturbed by the overwhelming racial disparity would find this book very illuminating.
