Overview

Dill is a herb that grows tall stalks of feather foliage. Both the leafy greens and seeds of dill are used to flavor, fish, potatoes and pickles.

Conditions

For soil, use a potting mix that’s tailored for vegetables and herbs. The soil temperature should be between 60 and 70ºF (15 and 21°C) for the best germination results. Make sure to shelter dill from strong winds, as it can be blown over easily. For the best quality leaves, provide full sun (6 or more hours of direct sunlight) and consistent moisture (don’t let the topsoil become dry to the touch).

Planting

Use our grow calendar tool to find specific dates for your region! Seeds germinate in 10-21 days. Successive sowings can be done every three weeks to harvest fresh greens continuously.

Plant seeds outdoors in spring as soon as the soil has thawed and crumbles. Plant seeds 1/4" deep, 2 seeds per inch. A 12" final spacing produces healthy, full plants.

Dill can be started inside in individual containers or cell trays and transplanted outdoors. Sow 3-5 seeds per pot and thin to 1-2 plants each. Transplant to garden using 12" spacing in rows at least 12" apart.

Pests and Disease

Leaf spot and occasionally a few other types of fungal leaf and root diseases affect dill.

Harvest

As soon as the plant has four to five leaves, you can start harvesting. Harvest older leaves first. Pinch off the leaves or cut them off with scissors. If you have a lot of plants, you can take entire stalks. After harvesting the leafy greens, allow the plants to flower to attract beneficial insects.

Don’t hold up/good Customer Service.
Size: 10.5, Color: Army Green
Please read full review. Where to begin. The boots are comfortable, decent waterproofing, they feel/look well constructed. Unfortunately they did not hold up well, I hikes less than 10 times. My left foot began to hurt on top near bottom of the lace, I tried every lacing method and it still hurt, leading to potential blisters. It was not a break in issue the boots were initially comfortable to wear then around hike 6 they hurt. Reached out to the company they were partially helpful offering a coupon on their website. Their shoes are significantly higher in price on their website. It could have been a lemon pair of boots. Buy with caution. Updated: 4/9/26-CS reached out to me and offered full refund or new pair of boots. I do hike often so I went with the new pair of boots. I will create a new review in the future /update this review. A+ for their CS. Initial review was 2 stars I increased to 3 stars if these boots hold up the score will go higher.

Nice Grill Cover
Size: 55 Inch, Color: black
I bought this as a replacement cover. It's durably made. It's not too thick or heavy. It fits nicely over my grill. The handles make it easy to put on and take off.

Durable, Long-Lasting, Doesn’t Fade in the Sun!!!
Size: 50 Inch, Color: black, Size: 50 Inch, Color: black
I’ve had this grill cover for almost a year now. But it last summer and it has been on my grill that is on open porch (no roof/overhang/cover protect protecting it from the elements). This particular area of the porch gets a ton of direct sunlight all day long as well. Needless to say, I am incredibly impressed by the material of this cover. It looks almost brand new even after a year of use and exposure to the elements. The fact that it didn’t even get faded in the sun a little bit blows my mind. Great product and excellent value! Highly recommend.
