Aroma Profile: A strong, aromatic scent characterized by spicy and nutty notes, complemented by earthy and woody undertones. It is often compared to cumin or oregano, with a subtle bitter and peppery nuance. Additionally, it may suggest hints of fennel or nutmeg, despite not being botanically related to either plant.

Appearance: pale to dark amber colour, a mobile liquid oil

Application: Cosmetics, personal care products, massage. It is recommended to dilute it in a carrier oil, such as jojoba or coconut oil, at a concentration of 5-10%.

Absorption Rate: Medium - slow absorption, leaving a oily, or satiny finish

Description: Black cumin seed oil is a nourishing oil used topically for skin and hair care. Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, it effectively hydrates the skin, soothes irritation, and may help reduce visible signs of ageing. For hair care, it moisturizes,  adds shine, and supports scalp health by addressing concerns such as dandruff and hair loss.

When applied topically, black cumin seed oil can hydrate the skin, diminish redness, and support the healing of blemishes. It may also promote hair growth and enhance shine. It is rich in compounds like thymoquinone which possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and has been traditionally and medicinally valued for its numerous benefits.

  • Palmitic Acid (C16:0): 15% (Major saturated fat) 
    • A saturated fatty acid that helps with skin protection.
  • Linoleic Acid  (C18:3) 67% (Highest concentration, supports skin barrier)
    • An omega-6 fatty acid used as an emollient, thickener and antioxidant in skin care.
  • Oleic Acid (C18:1): 45%
    • An omega-9 fatty acid that is highly moisturizing. 
  • Stearic Acid (C18:0): 5%
    • A saturated fatty acid that has nourishing and firming virtues.
  • Alpha-Linolenic Acid: Up to 2.0%
    • It is an essential omega-3 fatty acid recognized for its role in enhancing moisture retention, alleviating inflammation, and strengthening skin barriers.
  • Linolenic Acid (C18:3): 3%
    • An omega-6 fatty acid, a key component of the skin's barrier. 
  • Palmitoleic Acid (C16:1): 1%
    • A saturated fatty acid known for its moisturizing, emulsifying, and cleansing properties. It mimics the skin’s natural lipids.

Not a super fast charger but convenient.

Works well with induction-compatible iPhones. It's great with a iPhone 14 Pro. It will also charge a 16e, although the 16e is not equipped with MagSafe--that's just the magnet that holds the charger on. The 16e must be placed on top of the charger and carefully positioned for it to work. In my tests the charger drew about 1.7A @ 9V, for a total of about 10W. How much of this is absorbed by the phone is unknown, but probably most of it. this is not a super fast charge, but fine if you're leaving it for the night. The phone and charger do get warm, so some power is wasted. The heat is not a problem, though, since the phone gets warm when plugged in via the Lightning port, too. Some reviewers have mentioned tha the charger is rounded which means you can't leave the phone+charger on a surface. There is a flat spot on the charger, and I have no problem leaving the phone charge overnight. I find the cable long enough to reach the charger plugged into the wall near the floor, but that depends on your situation. Of course, if it's not long enough, there's not much you can do but move things around!

Solid Anker quality, but listing needs actual dimensions

Charging works exactly as you'd expect from Anker. 15W MagSafe-compatible, grips the back of the phone firmly, no heat issues, no drop-offs during overnight charging. Zero complaints on function. My gripe is with the listing, not the product. I was building this into a 3D-printed nightstand dock and needed the exact diameter and thickness to model the recess. For a product that people absolutely do integrate into custom mounts, cases, and furniture, leaving out basic physical dimensions is a miss.
