Philodendron crassinervium grows in a variety of habitats including as a lithophyte (growing on stone), is normally terrestrial with erect leaves. It will climb but if given good light it will ramble along the ground. Philodendron crassinervium is endemic to Brazil's Restinga Forest near the Atlantic Ocean, often close to the beach. Can reach anywhere between 3'-12' tall when provided a support, and encourage larger foliage development - each leaf can grow 3' long, and 3"-4" wide.
