'Flying Saucer' appeared in 1960 with "out of this world" large, white blooms with radiating blue stripes.

'Grandpa Ott's' is a charming, old-fashioned Bavarian favorite from the 1870s that has flowers of royal purple stamped with ruby stars. 'Knowlian's Black' blossoms are a very deep purple accented with ruby stars. The modern 'Shiva' is white with a pastel pink star, elegant as a ballerina, and a true standout. Interesting pillowcase that does run cool to the touch
To begin: I'm a 64 y/o woman who still gets hot flashes, despite air-conditioning and a fan blowing on me at night. It's the sheets off then blankets on routine that so many of us know. I ordered this pillowcase hoping that I would find some kind of relief in the night, even it was only for my head.
The fabric is very unusual. It's a silky nylon blend, very swishy and soft. It reminds me of luxury, expensive women's lingerie. It's extremely slippery, moreso when you have your head on it; there certainly won't be any resistance or pulling on the hair all night.
I washed it before using it, put it in a mesh bag to protect it from getting snagged. It washed and dried as good as new. One thing to note: because it is so slippery the pillow may want to slide a little out of the pillowcase.
I slept quite well and did not experience any heat or sweating on it.
The reason for the 4* and not 5* is the price, at almost $20 it is a bit pricey for a rectangle of nylon fabric. I could see if it were real silk, but it's not. Otherwise it's exactly what it purports to be.
