Growing Instructions

Plant Elephant Ears outdoors in the spring after all danger of frost has passed. Elephant Ears thrive in a full sun to partially shaded spot in moist, rich soil. Elephant Ears will tolerate full sun but prefer to have a little shade. Plant tubers 2-4" deep and 18-24" apart. When planting a large number of bulbs in one bed, excavate the entire area to the recommended depth, work fertilizer into the bottom of the trench, set out bulbs and then cover all at once. Water thoroughly at planting. While actively growing, water frequently and thoroughly so that water will reach roots. Mulch to keep the soil cool and to prevent the soil from drying out. Fertilize at planting and during growing season every two to three weeks. In areas where Elephant Ears are not winter hardy, dig up tubers in fall before frost. Clean off roots and store at 50ºF. Replant tubers in spring after all danger of frost has passed.

Care Tip

Elephant Ears are suitable for large pots, raised beds and will grow in standing water. Water well during dry periods. Some varieties of Elephant Ears can be grown indoors in a very bright location in consistently moist soil.

Fun toy for dogs
Great toy for my dog. She loves when we throw it in the backyard for her and so far she hasn’t chewed it apart and she’s a big chewer. It’s bouncy too which makes it even more fun to chase. Great toy for the price

Great toy
Nice as a chew toy, fetch toy or for tug. My dogs liked it immediately. I love that it is not immediately destroyed, like most fabric toys.

Great for puppy gnawing!
I bought this toy a few months back and now I'm chiming in.. WOW! This is the FIRST toy our husky, Billie Eyelash, has NOT destroyed. She's about 16 Mos. and let no toy live this far except this one lol. I am amazed at the durability of this lil stick. When she needs to gnaw this thing is great! Gets right into the back teeth. They're is barely a mark on it and it's bouncy when you throw it. Yeah she loves it! 5 star

We LOVE these!!
Hands down the BEST dog toy we've found!! I have two pitbulls that are aggressive chewers and players.. we've had these about a month and they play with them everyday. Ordered two..still have two! They don't even have teeth marks in them. The durability is like nothing I've seen before. We've done name brand boxes specifically for bully breeds that are rather expensive, bought name brand toys that are also expensive..all broken or destroyed in a matter of a day, if that. For the price these are totally worth it! We'll be buying more down the road! I think these might actually last all summer!

Dogs love them!
Color: 3 Colors
Dogs love them! Larger than your average tennis balls, satisfying for my dogs to chew on, the squeak isn't too annoying, colorful enough I can find them in the bushes.
