Light: Grows well in bright, indirect light but can also tolerate some shade. Protect front full sun in hot areas.
Water: prefers to be kept on the dry side and can tolerate periods of drought.
Soil: best planted in well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. A mix of peat moss/coco coir, perlite, and sand can provide the plant with the right growing conditions.
Hardiness: hardy in USDA zones 9 to 11 and can tolerate temperatures as low as 25°F. It is best to protect the plant from frost and cold drafts.
