I wash them often because she plays with them so much. The crinkly sound has held up through many hand washes. These are great since they have no stuffing and can easily be washed. Cactus is her favorite and she frequently is walking around with it. The squeaker stopped working in the cactus, but it lasted about 6 months and I wash it the most. Squeakers work on the rest still. I have even bought a second set to save in case they stop selling them since she loves them so much.

    My 55lb bulldog has two chewing modes. For hard plastic, pigs ears, nylon, or rubber toys he is the terminator. For plush toys he chews and chews but never tears. These toys seemed so unsubstantial when I unboxed them. It’s been a week now with an hour or two of tug every day with the octopus toy. The toy is still intact. Except for the squeaker. It died in the first five minutes. These are smaller and thinner then I thought they would be, but also tougher. Good value for the price. Just supervise you dog while chewing. A liberated squeaker is a choking risk.

    These have been a good set of toys, especially for a dog that likes to chew. My dog is a heavy chewer, and while she does still eventually get through them, they last longer than many other toys marketed for chewers. They are not completely chew-proof, but they last longer than most and are much cleaner thanks to the no-stuffing design. My dog gets a lot of use and enjoyment out of them.
