Potassium is one of the three most important nutrients needed by plants along with nitrogen and phosphorus. Numerous important functions are dependent on good plant potassium levels. Among them are regulation of stomatal opening; water pressure in plant cells; transport of essential biological compounds in plant sap; and activation of enzymes. Biogreaux Blackstrap Molasses also contains a wide array of micronutrients such as calcium, iron and magnesium as well as trace and ultra-trace minerals. It can also be used as a foliar spray to treat potassium deficiencies.

Unsulphered Molasses Application Instructions

Lawns or Smaller Farm Areas
Use 3 oz. or 6 tbsp. of molasses per gallon of water.

Farms
Use 2 gallons of molasses per acre mixed with water.

Gardens
Apply 1 oz. or 2 tbsp. of molasses per gallon of water.
