Wherever you are on your journey of healing, there is a chapter in Seeds that will speak to your heart. That is why I wrote the book. That is how I wrote the book — from a place of healing, from a place of having been through the hurt, through the confrontation, through the mending, and finally, despite having doubted that I would ever feel whole again, through the process of coming back home to myself. However, Seeds isn’t filled with personal poetry that you can’t relate to — it is filled with lessons, with insights, with words that give you permission to dive into yourself and feel deeply, because Seeds isn’t just my journey or my growth — it is yours, too. As you go through the chapters, I hope you dig deeper into what you are feeling, what you need to forgive within yourself, and by the end of the collection, I hope your heart feels a little lighter. I hope your heart feels empowered. I hope you forgive yourself for accepting less than you deserved in the past.
