-Peperomia String of Turtles are a very special succulent that have round leaves that have patterns that look like mini turtle shells.

 About Peperomia:

-Peperomia have quickly become one of my personal favorite plants to have on display around my home. Peperomia are especially easy plants to take care of, that thrive indoors. Peperomia are a cross between succulents and tropical plants. Depending on the type of peperomia, some have thicker leaves like succulents and some have thinner leaves like tropical plants. 

-Peperomia String of Turtles has medium leaves that are thicker, similar to succulent leaves.

Care:

Tropical plants thrive in bright-light locations, but kept indoors. Gently mist the plants 2x a week, or more/less if needed given your climate. These specific peperomia prefer to have their soil almost dry in between watering.   Tropical plants can be grown outside in covered shade areas, but only during warmer months if it gets cold where you live. For best growing advice, we recommend researching growing recommendations in your area. 

-For String of Turtles specifically, they thrive when bottom-watered, as they like to be kept moist, but not overwatered! 

-This plant will thrive in bright light location, adding hues to their coloring. This succulent is greenhouse-grown in San Diego. This means that it was grown with covered and filter light. This succulent will thrive best in a bright-lit location, out of direct harsh sun.

Shipping

-This succulent is shipped a couple of different methods, depending on where it is traveling to. If ordered by itself, it will be shipped in its pot with soil. Depending on the other items in the order, it may ship semi-bare root to keep the delicate hearts safer. **If ordered outside the  Continental US (lower 48 states), it will be shipped bare roots.

-6in Pots are shipped in their growing pots (unless outside of 48 main states, then they will ship semi-soil!)

-5.5in pot is shipped semi-soil to protect the delicate leaves! 

-‘Bare roots’ simply means there is none or very little soil on the roots of the succulent. This is to prevent rotting when shipping, and to prevent the succulent getting damaged in the shipping process.

-The leaves are very delicate on this plant, and a couple leaves may fall off in transit, despite our careful packaging. The leaves can be propagated into new plants, and the plant will regrow additional leaves! 

-When you receive the succulent, plant the roots & succulent upon receiving and they will continue to grow!

-All of our orders are shipped using USPS or FedEx shipping. Once we package the order, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking.
