Meyer Lemon Treebute Tree

A Bright and Meaningful Tribute

The Meyer lemon is a compact broadleaf evergreen, grown as a small tree or a generous shrub, with glossy dark green leaves and fragrant white blossoms tinged with purple at the base. It blooms more than once a year, with the heaviest flushes in spring and fall, and smooth, deep yellow fruit follows in the months after.

Each Treebute is a complete memorial tree kit designed to be planted at home, a hands-on ritual that many people find grounding during grief. The act of planting gives your hands something purposeful to do and creates a living connection to someone you love.

Why You’ll Love the Meyer Lemon:

  • Fragrant Blooms: Meyer Lemon blossoms produces aromatic white blossoms that fill your space with a natural freshness
  • A Tree That Gives Back: Unlike purely ornamental trees, the Meyer Lemon produces real, usable fruit - sweeter and less acidic than store-bought lemons, with thin, fragrant skin. Squeeze one into your tea, zest it over a dish, or simply enjoy knowing that something beautiful grew from your care. Each lemon becomes a small, tangible gift.
  • Evergreen Beauty in Every Season: With glossy, dark green leaves that stay lush year-round, the Meyer Lemon never has a bare or dormant phase. It can bloom and fruit simultaneously, so you might see white blossoms, tiny green lemons, and ripe yellow fruit all on the same tree - a living reminder that beginnings and endings coexist.
  • Thrives Indoors Year-Round: The Meyer Lemon is one of the easiest citrus trees to grow inside. Place it near a sunny window, water when the soil dries, and watch it flourish. It stays a manageable 4-6 feet in a container - substantial enough to make a statement, compact enough for any living space. Your memorial can be with you every day, not just when you visit outdoors.

Each Treebute Kit Includes

✓ Hardy tribute tree (size you select)
✓ Step-by-step planting & watering care guide
✓ Personalized memorial message

➕ Optional Add-Ons (Customize Your Treebute Kit)

o Planter (choose your style & size)
o Premium potting mix (for indoor or patio planting)
o Cremation-safe organic soil blend (for ashes, if/when you’re ready)
Many customers plant without ashes - and that’s just as meaningful

Everything arrives together, ready to plant.

Nurturing Your Memorial Tree:

Not a citrus expert? No worries. The Meyer Lemon is hardy, rewarding, and surprisingly easy to grow.

  • Light: Full sun is best - at least 6-8 hours of bright light daily. A south-facing window is ideal. If natural light is limited, a grow light can help your tree thrive.
  • Water: Water deeply when the top 2 inches of soil feel dry. Meyer Lemons like consistent moisture but not soggy roots. In winter, water less frequently.
  • Humidity: Average household humidity works fine. If your home is very dry in winter, occasional misting or a nearby humidifier helps.
  • Temperature: Thrives in USDA Zones 8–11; bring indoors if temperatures drop below 40°F. Room temperatures between 55-80°F are perfect. Keep away from cold drafts and heating vents.
  • Feeding: Fertilize with citrus food during spring and summer for the best blooms and fruit.

Each moment caring for your tree - watering, watching new leaves unfurl, breathing in the fragrance of blossoms - becomes a quiet act of remembrance.

Optional: Plant with Cremation Ashes - The Treebute® Difference

For people wishing to incorporate cremation ashes, each Treebute Kit has the option to include Treebute® organic soil blend. This scientifically formulated mixture balances the naturally high pH and sodium levels in cremated remains, safely transforming them into a nourishing foundation for your tree - transforming ashes into living growth. It’s a gentle, healing option if and when the time feels right.

Your tree is meaningful with or without ashes - this is simply another way to honor someone you love.

Honor Your Loved One in a Way That Lives On

Finding a meaningful way to honor someone you love can feel overwhelming. The Meyer Lemon Tree offers something uniquely comforting - a memorial that lives with you, filling your home with fragrance and beauty. This tree creates a lasting memorial you can see, touch, and even taste - bringing comfort and meaning season after season.

The act of planting creates meaning. The fragrance creates memory. The fruit creates connection.

Reliable scale, great for starting on a budget while still getting fairly solid results
This scale performs wonderfully and is very reliable. I will say the only issue I am having is that it seems to be very very touchy with not getting an exact weight reading and flickers a lot. I don't think this is really an issue as it might just be super sensitive. But for the price it's absolutely worth it

You Don't Really Need This, But...
This combination coffee scale and timer works exactly as advertised. It measures weights up to 2000 grams with 1/10 gram accuracy. The scale has three operating modes: espresso, pour over and manual. In espresso mode, the scale will automatically tare after a cup is placed on it then automatically start the count up timer and weigh incoming espresso as it starts to pour. In pour over mode, it will automatically tare after your cup/dripper/filter is in place. Then it weighs out the coffee dose as you add it. After you tare again manually, the timer and scale will start as you pour hot water. This allows you to let the saturated coffee grounds off gas for the desired number of seconds before continuing the pour. Manual mode is just that. You control the tare function and start the timer yourself. Battery capacity is great so USB charging will be infrequently required. Accessories include a short USB-A to USB-C cord and a clip-on silicone heat shield to protect the scale from hot espresso. Coffee spills are easy to cleanup and don't seem to have any ill effects on the scale itself. One gripe though: the weighing platform is only about 10 cm square so anything larger than a small coffee cup will block part of the digital displays. After all, the scale needs to fit inside an espresso machine. It isn't a full size kitchen scale. But really, do you need this device? If you want to be ultra precise in your coffee measurements, you love gadgets, or you revel in the coffee making ritual, the answer is certainly YES!

Scale programming and stabilizing
It took me a little time to figure out the different programming modes but now I know how to get quickly to the program I need for the coffee I brew. The scale is very sensitive and it takes a second until the scale stabilizes. All in all, I like it.

Precise, with super focused controls.
Color me impressed. I wanted to upgrade from an old Oster brand scale. It was a workhorse, and I still use it, but I prefer this Maestri House scale for coffee and tea. I compared them side-by-side, and their measurements are near identical. I've abused my old one, so I would imagine the M H to be more reliably calibrated, although the differences in readings while set to Grams was .01, so, for me, inconsequential, and may well have been user error as I had no control to measure them against. Here's what I like and prefer about the Maestri House S1: I love that it is rechargeable with readily available USB-C cords. I can take it with me, and not have to worry about swapping batteries. I love the silicone band that protects the platform. It is easy to clean, and doesn't seem to interfere with measurements. The scale is very sensitive. I could add or remove a literal pinch of ground coffee and it would register on the scale. The digital readout is bright enough to easily see. The controls could not be simpler: tap once to Tare, twice to change the unit of measurement. You can set it to liquid or dry ingredients as well. I also love that I can switch between grams and ounces without having to remeasure. Most scales do that these days, but I appreciate it. The timer is simple and easy to control--a very nice inclusion. Also, since the buttons are VERY sensitive, I barely have to touch them, so the scale stays perfectly still, and they work with wet hands. This device is focused, designed to be especially effective for making coffee or tea. It is compact, which makes it the perfect size for cups, mugs, filter baskets, etc. I wouldn't use it for baking or other kitchen tasks. Ok, I WOULD try to use it for that--I just wouldn't recommend it. It's too small for bowls and trays, because it wasn't designed for those. It is PERFECT for brewing and drink mixology. Also, I prefer to keep scales like these designated to weights under 5 pounds--let the Oster handle the big stuff. Overall, I think it's a fantastic little scale. I have had no reliability issues. Will it hold up over time? I think so. Plus, it looks great in my coffee corner. Satin black is kind of my theme. Happy brewing!
