Sigmund and the Sea Monsters was an American children's television series that ran from 1973 to 1975, produced by Sid and Marty Krofft and aired on Saturday Mornings. The show centered on two brothers, Johnny and Scott Stuart, who discover Sigmund, a friendly young sea monster who had been thrown out by his comically dysfunctional undersea family for refusing to frighten people. The boys hide Sigmund in their clubhouse.

This is a 2-disc, fan-produced collection of the entire "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" series. The quality is the same as the out of print DVD releases, and includes commentary tracks and interviews, as well as interactive menus and color artwork. Season one was released in the US and the complete series was released in Australia. Now they are both out of print and being sold for hundreds of dollars.

The velcro is super strong, which is good but makes it difficult to open. Battery life is decent, lasted a few days with him playing with it an hour or so each evening. The weight and sturdiness of the pieces keep them from sliding around too much during play, and they are tough enough to withstand my Aussie’s powerful chewing without damage. I also like how it is numbered so you can quickly move onto the next level without too much thought. With that, I have noticed the higher levels are challenging, and my Aussie has yet to get through them all. Eventually he gets bored and stops trying. It is a high-quality, fun, and engaging toy that provides mental stimulation, holds up to rough play, and is easy for me to maintain. Definitely one of the best puzzle toys I have tried!
