A non-trailing, bush-type holds blooms well above the foliage. Young leaves and flowers are edible, having a flavor like watercress and may be used in salads.

Annual for full or partial sun. Plants bear a profusion of elegant double flowers on spiked stems. Delicately frilled, upward-facing double flowers bloom in three months from seeding. The long lasting summer to fall clarkia also makes excellent cut flowers. Non-genetically engineered seeds.
