The Jade Plant 'Golden' is a vibrant and eye-catching succulent variety of Crassula ovata, known for its glossy, fleshy leaves that feature striking golden-yellow and lime-green variegation. Under bright sunlight, the leaf edges may develop a warm blush of pink or red, adding depth and color contrast. This variety maintains the same hardy and easy-care nature of traditional jade plants, making it a perfect choice for indoor spaces, patios, or succulent gardens where a splash of gold is desired.

Characteristics:

• Compact, bushy growth habit with thick, woody stems.

• Fleshy, oval-shaped leaves with golden-yellow and green variegation.

• Leaf edges may develop a red or pink tinge under strong light.

• Can grow up to 60-90 cm tall over time in pots.

• Produces clusters of small, star-shaped white or pale pink flowers during late winter or early spring in mature plants.

• Symbolizes good luck, prosperity, and positive energy (often used as a Feng Shui plant).

Care Tips:

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light indoors or full sun outdoors. The more sunlight it receives, the more vibrant the leaf colors become.

• Watering: Water thoroughly but infrequently. Allow the soil to dry out completely between watering. Reduce watering in winter.

• Soil: Requires well-draining succulent or cactus mix. Ensure pots have drainage holes to prevent water accumulation.

• Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 15-25°C. Protect from frost.

• Fertilizing: Feed with a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring to autumn).

• Pruning: Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any leggy or unhealthy branches.

• Propagation: Easily propagated from leaf cuttings or stem cuttings.

• Pests: Watch for mealybugs and aphids. Wipe leaves occasionally to keep them clean and healthy.
