A Cybex Power Cage is, and can best be described as follows: A Power Rack, or Power Cage, is a free weight rack comprised of four vertical posts in an open front configuration with two adjustable horizontal bar catches for racking an Olympic bar or barbell. Some Power Racks come with weight horns for plate storage, a pull-up bar at the top, a spotter platform, and/or a removable bench. The Power Rack allows the user to safely perform a number of weight training exercises such as Squats, Bench Presses, Shoulder Presses, and Deadlifts by acting as a spotter, and it is useful for safely performing limited range exercises.
