Once-A-Year Pond Plant Fertilizer is formulated to feed for 180 days, with no excess nitrogen to stress the plant and low phosphorus to reduce the risk of algae growth. The high potassium in the formulation encourages incredible flowering for aquatic plants. Both the capsule and granular are perfect for fertilizing waterlilies, lotus and other pond plants. This once-a-year fertilizer will maximize plant growth and increase flower production for the entire year.
Use capsules (# 89010. 89011) for fertilizing existing aquatic plants, easy to push into soil, won’t break apart.
Use granular (#89013, 89014) for fertilizing newly potted aquatic plants.
Dosing Recommendations
HOW OFTEN: One time per season (180 days).
HOW TO: For new plants/re-potting, add a layer of soil to the bottom of the pot, then spread fertilizer evenly. Add the plant, then fill with soil and top with gravel. For fertilization in the years following re-potting, use Once-A-Year Pond Plant Fertilizer Capsules.
CAUTION: Keep away from children and pets. Fish-safe. Will not harm aquatic life when used as directed.
